The Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit are investigating found human remains in Fort McMurray.
On Jan. 24, 2022, human remains were found at a location in Fort McMurray.
The circumstances surrounding the death of this individual and their found remains are believed to be suspicious. Investigators do not believe there is any threat to public safety as it relates to this suspicious death.
An autopsy is scheduled for later this week.
